Everything you need to know about Bloomia — from your first activity to invoices and personal data.
🚀 Getting started
First time on Bloomia? Start here.
What is Bloomia, in short?
A platform where teachers create interactive activities — quizzes, matching games, spin the wheel and 20+ more types — and hand them to students through a simple link.
Students do NOT need an account to play. They open the link, type their first name and start. An account only helps if they want to earn XP, badges and appear on leaderboards.
How do I create my first activity?
1. Go to your Dashboard and click “+ New activity”.
2. Pick a game type (Quiz is the easiest to start with).
3. Write the questions and answers.
4. Click Save.
A 5-question quiz takes under a minute. The activity appears immediately in your dashboard, ready to share.
How do I give the activity to my students?
From the dashboard, each activity has a share button: copy the link or display the QR code on the projector, and students scan it with their phone.
Works on any device with a browser — phone, tablet, laptop. Nothing to install.
Do students need an account?
No, not to play. They only type their first name at the start, so they appear on the activity leaderboard.
With an account, though, the student earns experience (XP), coins, badges, a daily streak and enters the weekly leagues. For students under 16, the account requires a parent's consent.
Can I use the platform for free?
Yes. The Free plan gives you 6 activities and the Quiz and Spin the Wheel types, with no time limit and no card required.
If you need more activities or the other game types, upgrade to a paid plan anytime.
👩🏫 For teachers
Organizing materials, student results and classroom work.
How do I see what students answered?
On each activity, from the three-dot menu → “Results”. There you have:
• the leaderboard (top 20, searchable by name);
• the full session history;
• click any name → see question by question what the student answered and where they went wrong.
Useful right before class: you instantly see which topic needs revisiting.
Can I organize my activities by class or subject?
Yes, with folders (available from the Starter plan). You can make a folder for each class or chapter and move activities into it from the dashboard.
Can I reuse another teacher's activity?
Yes. In the Community you'll find activities published by other teachers. You can play them directly or duplicate them into your account to adapt them for your class — without affecting the original.
Who can see my activities?
You decide, for each activity:
• Public — appears in the Community, anyone can find it;
• Link — only whoever has the link;
• Private — only you.
By default, activities are not public.
Can I print an activity for paper work?
Yes, with the Pro plan: from the activity, choose the PDF worksheet export, with or without answers. Useful for homework or for students without a device.
Can I put an activity on my school's site or blog?
Yes, with the Pro plan. On the activity's results page you'll find the embed code — paste it into your site and the activity plays right there.
What do I do if a student reports a mistake in an activity?
Open the activity in the editor, fix it and save. The change applies immediately to everyone — the link stays the same, no need to resend it.
Results already recorded are not deleted.

What is the Maths Generator?
An activity type that creates the exercises for you: you pick the operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages, etc.), the number range and the difficulty, and the platform generates new exercises every time it's played.
The advantage: students can't memorize the answers, because the exercises differ every time.
Can I put maths formulas or images in questions?
Yes. For formulas, write them between dollar signs — for example $x^2$ or $\frac{1}{2}$ — and they'll be rendered correctly as math.
For images, there's an upload button under each question and answer; you can upload from your computer or search directly in the built-in free image library.
📺 Quiz Live (classroom competition)
The whole class plays at the same time, on the projector.
How does Quiz Live work?
1. Create a Quiz Live and start it from your account.
2. An access code appears on the classroom screen.
3. Students join from their phone, typing the code and their first name.
4. Questions appear simultaneously for everyone; whoever answers faster and correctly gets more points.
It moves to the next question once everyone has answered or the time runs out — whichever happens first.
What do I see, as a teacher, during the game?
A board with all students and, for each question, green and red dots — you instantly see who answered correctly and which question tripped up most of the class.
Results only appear after everyone has answered, so students don't influence each other.
How much time do students have per question?
Whatever you set when creating the activity. If you don't set anything, 30 seconds per question is used automatically.
Do students get anything for taking part in Quiz Live?
Students with an account get 10 coins and 30 XP for taking part, plus a bonus for the top three spots. Students without an account play normally and appear on the leaderboard, but don't accumulate progress.
💳 Subscriptions and payments
Plans, payment methods, renewal and cancellation.
What's the difference between plans?
FREE — 0
6 activities, 2 game types, sharing via link, student results.
STARTER — 3 €/month
Unlimited activities, 11 game types, organizing folders, statistics.
PRO — 7 €/month
Everything in Starter + all 26 types (including Quiz Live and StoryBook), visual themes, PDF export, embedding on your own site, advanced statistics.
INSTITUTION — 31.8 €/month
Everything in Pro for 10 teachers, an admin panel and centralized reports.
How do I pay?
Two ways:
• Card — activation is instant, and the subscription renews automatically until you cancel it.
• Bank transfer — see the next question.
Annual billing costs the same as 10 months, so you effectively get 2 months free.
How does bank transfer payment work?
1. On the Pricing page, pick your plan and click “Bank transfer”.
2. You get our account details and a unique reference code — the code is required, it's how we identify your payment.
3. Make the transfer from your bank, entering the code in the details.
4. Come back to the page and confirm you've made the payment.
5. We verify it and activate the subscription, usually within 1–2 business days. You get a confirmation email with the invoice.
Note: a subscription paid by bank transfer does NOT renew automatically. When it's about to expire, repeat the process.
Where do I find my invoices?
In Profile → Subscription and payments. You have the full list of payments, with a downloadable invoice for each.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Profile → Subscription and payments → Cancel subscription.
Access stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for — you don't lose the remaining days. After that you switch to the Free plan automatically. You can change your mind anytime before it expires by clicking Reactivate.
What happens to my activities if my subscription expires?
Nothing gets deleted. Activities stay in your account and students can keep playing them through the links already shared.
What you can no longer do on the Free plan: create new activities beyond the 6 limit, or use the paid features (PDF export, embedding, advanced statistics). Everything returns to normal once you renew.
Can I change plans during my subscription?
Yes. Pick the new plan from the Pricing page. Upgrading to a higher plan is instant.
Do you have any offer right now?
Yes — the launch promotion gives you the Pro plan and is active until October 13, 2026.
You can activate it like this:
• with no payment method — you just activate the promotion from the Pricing page
Pick the plan from the Pricing page. When the promotion ends the plan expires, and it's your decision whether to continue paying — no charge is made without your consent.
🏫 For schools and institutions
One subscription for the whole staff.
What does the Institution plan include?
All Pro features for 10 teachers, under a single subscription and a single invoice.
Plus: an admin panel where you add and remove teachers, and centralized reports for the whole school.
How do I add teachers?
From the Institution Dashboard → enter the teacher's email address → they get an invitation.
If they already have an account, they accept it with one click and their Pro plan activates instantly. If not, they create one from the link they received.
What happens to teachers if the institution's subscription expires?
They temporarily switch to the Free plan, but stay linked to the institution. When you renew, they automatically return to Pro, with nothing for them to do.
Their activities stay intact throughout.
Can a teacher also have their own subscription?
Yes. If they buy a plan themselves, they detach from the institution and keep their own plan — no longer depending on the school's subscription.
Can we pay by bank transfer, as an institution?
Yes, bank transfer is a perfect fit for this: you get the reference code and account details, pay via treasury or bank, and we activate the subscription after confirming it and issue the invoice in the institution's name.
🏆 Experience, leagues and rewards
How progress works for students with an account.
How is XP earned and how do levels go up?
XP is earned for completed games:
• 5 XP for finishing a game;
• 1 XP for each correct answer, up to a maximum of 20 XP per game;
• a bonus for the top 5 spots on the activity's leaderboard.
Level 2 is reached at 100 XP, and each following level needs a bit more than the last. Progress is intentionally slow, so it stays a long race.
Why don't I get XP when I replay the same activity?
So progress can't be farmed by endlessly repeating the same game, only the first 3 completions per day of the SAME activity earn XP and coins.
Further plays work normally and count toward statistics and your streak, but no longer give rewards.
What are the weekly leagues?
A leaderboard based on XP earned during the current week. There are 9 leagues, from Iron to Legend.
At the end of the week, the top players in each league are promoted to the league above, and the bottom ones are relegated. Leagues close Sunday evening, and weekly XP resets to zero for everyone — total level and XP are NOT lost.
What are coins used for?
Coins are earned by playing (2 for each finished game, plus bonuses) and are used for avatars and profile frames.
You also use them to buy streak freezes: 200 coins each, up to 2 held at the same time.
What's the daily streak and how do I keep it?
The streak counts the consecutive days you've played at least one activity. Every 7 consecutive days you get a coin bonus.
If you skip a day, the streak is lost — but if you have a streak freeze, it's used automatically and the streak is saved, even if you don't visit the platform that day.
What are badges?
Rewards for achievements: first game finished, perfect scores, long streaks, league promotions and more. They unlock automatically and you can see them in your profile.
🔒 Account, personal data and GDPR
What data we keep, what control you have and how to delete your account.
How do I delete my account?
Profile → Security → “Delete account and personal data”.
Type the confirmation text and choose how you want to confirm: with your password, via a link sent by email (useful if you registered without a password), or by sending us a request to handle it.
Deletion through the interface is immediate and irreversible.
What gets deleted and what stays when I delete my account?
Permanently deleted: your name, email, avatar, settings, progress (XP, coins, badges, streaks), favorites, notifications and folders.
Anonymized: your game results stay in other teachers' activity statistics, but with no link to you.
Stays: the activities you published — they transfer to the platform, without your name as the author. The reason is other teachers use them in class. If you want a specific activity to disappear completely, delete it from your account BEFORE deleting your account.
Invoices also stay, if you had a paid subscription — tax law requires us to archive them.
Can I download my data?
Yes. Profile → Security → “Download my data”. You get a file with everything we hold about your account: profile, activities, results, payments, progress.
How do I unsubscribe from emails?
You have an “Unsubscribe” link in the footer of every email we send, or the “Newsletter emails” toggle in Profile → Security.
You'll still receive messages about your account, subscription and invoices — they're required for the contract and can't be turned off.
Do you use Google Analytics or ad tracking?
No. We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or any third-party tracking tool, and data never leaves the platform.
We measure audience with our own system that doesn't store your IP address and can't recognize you from one day to the next. You can opt out of measurement from the “Data preferences” link in the site footer.
Is student data safe?
Students can play without an account, and in that case we only keep the first name they type and the score — nothing else.
Servers are in the European Union, and data is never sold or shared with third parties. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
Who owns the activities I create?
You remain the author and keep the rights to your content. By granting us a license at registration, you allow us to host and display it on the platform.
Full terms are in the Terms of Service, “User content” section.
I forgot my password.
On the Sign in page, click “Forgot password?” and you'll get a reset link by email.
If you registered with Google, sign in with the Google button as well — in that case you don't have a password with us.
Didn't find your answer?
Write to us and we'll reply within 24 business hours.
