Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They let the site remember your preferences and improve your experience.
2. Cookies we use
🔐 Essential cookies (required)
Cannot be disabled — required for the platform to work.
- sb-access-token, sb-refresh-token — your authentication session (Supabase Auth). Expires on sign-out or after 7 days of inactivity.
- NEXT_LOCALE — the selected language (ro/en/fr/de/es).
⚙️ Functional cookies
Remember your usage preferences.
- sound-muted (localStorage) — the sound on/off preference in games.
- liked_[id] (localStorage) — the activities you've liked (without an account).
- lp_an_sid (sessionStorage) — the audience-measurement session identifier. Disappears when the tab is closed.
- lp_an_optout (localStorage) — created only if you've opted out of audience measurement.
📊 Third-party cookies
Come from the external services integrated into the platform. None of them serve advertising purposes and none track you on other sites.
- Stripe — cookies required for secure payment processing and fraud prevention. Only activated when you enter the payment page, not during regular browsing. Stripe Policy.
- Supabase — the session cookies from the previous point; strictly necessary to stay signed in. Supabase Policy.
3. Audience measurement (our own analytics)
To know what's working, we count visits and where they come from. We use a system we built ourselves, hosted on our own infrastructure — we don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or any other third-party tool. Data never leaves the platform and is never sold.
What we keep
- the visit source (e.g. "tiktok") and campaign, from link parameters or the referring domain
- the landing page, device type, browser and operating system
- the country — derived from the IP address, but without storing the IP address
- actions on the platform: pages visited, activities opened, games started and finished, account created, subscription, payment
What we do NOT keep
- the IP address
- any persistent identifier that would track you across days, sessions or sites
- the full referring URL (only the domain)
The session identifier is kept in sessionStorage and disappears when you close the tab. Raw data is automatically deleted after 14 months.
Because this measurement is strictly internal, with no persistent identifier and no stored IP, it falls under the "audience measurement" exemption in Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive — which is why we don't show you a banner blocking access. You can opt out of measurement anytime from the "Data preferences" link in the footer of every page.
4. How to manage cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
- Firefox: Options → Privacy and security
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
⚠️ Disabling essential cookies will prevent authentication and use of the platform.
