If you've never built an online quiz before, the idea can feel more complicated than it actually is. This guide takes you from a new account to a finished quiz your students can play — in under five minutes.
Step 1 — Create a free account
No credit card required. The free plan lets you build activities from day one, including Quiz and Spin the Wheel. Sign-up takes under a minute — just an email and a password.
Step 2 — Choose the Quiz type
From your dashboard, click "New Activity" and select Quiz — the simplest format to start with: multiple-choice questions, just like a classic test, but interactive.
Step 3 — Write your first question
Type the question, add four answer options, and mark the correct one. You can attach an image if it helps — a map, a diagram, a photo — with a direct upload button or a free stock photo library built right in.
Step 4 — Add the rest of your questions
Repeat for as many questions as you want. For a first quiz, 5-8 questions are plenty — you can always come back and add more later.
Step 5 — Save and share
Hit save, and the activity appears instantly in your dashboard. From there, copy the share link or display a QR code — students scan it with their phones and start playing immediately, no account required.
That's it. You don't need any technical training — if you know how to send an email, you know how to build an interactive quiz.
